Class periods and readings

Class periods make up only a part of this class. Reading and writing that students do on their own makes up another part, and students’ discussions with one another and with me outside of class are another important component of the course. This blog site is designed to facilitate this interaction. So are my office hours. They are set times when I undertake to be in my office and available to meet with students. So please stop by. If you want to see me and can’t make it during my office hours, please let me know and we will set up an alternative mutually convenient time.

Consultation Hours

During the Fall Semester 2011, I will be available to meet with you either in person in my office, or on Skype during the following times:

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11.00 – 12.15 am, 2.00 – 3.45 pm
Other days by appointment.

During the summer session, I will be available to meet with students each day after class. If this time doesn’t work for you, let me know and we’ll find an alternative.
