Cost

The total cost of the UMW South Africa program is $4,700. The program cost includes UMW fees for health insurance and study abroad, airport transfers and transportation in South Africa, roundtrip airfare based on departure from Washington D.C, shared accommodations, all breakfasts and some other meals, and entrance fees. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due upon signup. The deadline date for signing up for the program is January 18, 2011. Subsequent payments of $2,100 each are due in February 18 and March 31, 2011. Please note that the program cost is subject to change without notice, depending on the exchange rate at the time of payment. If program is canceled, students will be fully refunded. In addition to the program fee, students are required to sign up Geog 360, a three credit course, in Summer 2011.
