I am sorry that I will not be able to be in class today, and so unfortunately class will have to be canceled. Actually. it won’t be canceled; we will just hold class in a different way.
THE MAP QUIZ: I have e-mailed a copy of the map quiz to every student in the class. Please print out and take the quiz on your own, and bring the answer sheet with you to class on Tuesday to turn in. I will trust you to take the quiz under the Honor System, meaning that you will not consult any map, atlas, or other materials as you take the quiz.
CLASSS DISCUSSION/LECTURE: I will go ahead with the material I had planned to talk about today live, online, at noon on Saturday. I will e-mail details of how to log on to the class to you later today. If you have other commitments that prevent you from participating in the class, I will record it and you may watch it online. Just be sure to do so before Tuesday’s class.
